The Crane Mustangs basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host Huntington Locomotives to 8 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Charter for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Crane will confront a Patriots team coming off a 65-37 league win over North Star (Eagle, ID). The Patriots record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Huntington falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Locomotives travel to Harper (Harper, OR) to confront the Hornets in a 1A High Desert game on Friday, January 10. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 2-5. Harper won 34-30 in their recent non-league game against Mapleton (Mapleton, OR)
