Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cuba City nips Southwestern

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Cuba City Cubans basketball team scored a close 63-58 triumph over the Southwestern Wildcats.
The Cubans (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, East Dubuque nipped River Ridge (Hanover, IL), 69-58, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Southwestern will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 65-60 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
