North Carolina High School Basketball - Rosman overwhelmed by Draughn

January 9, 2025: Valdese, NC 28690

In Thursday's league test, the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), by a score of 70-36.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC) in a 1A/2A Western Highlands test, on Tuesday, January 14. Draughn will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 65-39 league loss to Owen (Black Mountain, NC).

The Tigers (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the 1A/2A Western Highlands test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Mitchell was routed by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 74-59, in a league test.
