Arizona High School Basketball - Flagstaff holds off Mingus

The Flagstaff Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Mingus Marauders to 59 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bradshaw Mountain for a 4A Grand Canyon game on Friday, January 10. Flagstaff will confront a Bears team coming off a 64-42 league loss to Prescott (Prescott, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Mingus falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 4A Grand Canyon game on Friday, January 10. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a record of 6-7. Mohave lost 62-48 in their recent league game against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ)
