The Marietta Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Fort Frye Cadets to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Warren for a Twin State game on Monday, January 13. Marietta will confront a Warriors team coming off a 74-48 non-league win over Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Fort Frye falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to confront the Big Blacks in a Freelance game on Monday, January 13. The Big Blacks go into the game with a record of 3-4. Point Pleasant lost 80-28 in their recent non-league game against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
