The Miners (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against McLaughlin (Lake Wales, FL). The Phoenix come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, McLaughlin dropped by Excel Christian Academy Blue (Lakeland, FL), 76-62, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Oasis Christian Lions (Winter Haven, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Frostproof will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 66-47 non-league loss to Bayshore Christian (Tampa, FL).
