In Thursday's league contest, the host Grayson Rams basketball team scored a good 72-56 triumph over the Newton Rams.
The Rams (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAAAA Region 4 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Rockdale County was topped by South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA), 71-69, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Newton will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA).
