Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), 68-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hozho Academy advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Wolves host Reserve (Reserve, NM) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Mountaineers enter the match with a record of 1-7. Reserve lost 91-31 in their recent non-league match against Springer (Springer, NM)
The Falcons now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a A District 1 match on Friday, January 10. Northwest will face a Leopards squad coming off a 50-27 non-league win over Walatowa Charter (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Leopards record now stands at 2-3.
