The Kardinals now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Kotzebue for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. Kenai Central will play a Huskies team coming off a 96-62 non-league loss to Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Huskies record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Nikiski falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Seward (Seward, AK) to play the Seahawks in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Seahawks go into the game with a record of 1-3. Seward won 69-49 in their recent league game against Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK)
