The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN) and the visiting Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), observed Rushford-Peterson's basketball team overwhelm Kingsland by a score of 74-52.

The Trojans (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles was routed by Caledonia (Caledonia, MN), 80-63, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Sunday, January 12. Kingsland will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 60-52 league win over Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN).
