The Burros (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Cardinals come into the A Section 1 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, LeRoy-Ostrander edged Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN), 48-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Spring Grove will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Superlarks come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 67-62 league win over Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN).
