The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Ouray Trojans (Ouray, CO) and the visiting Mancos Bluejays (Mancos, CO), observed Ouray's basketball team knock off Mancos by a score of 43-34.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Telluride (Telluride, CO). The Miners come into the 3A/2A/1A San Juan challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Telluride dropped by Monticello (Monticello, UT), 46-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays battle the Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A San Juan challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Mancos will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 65-58 league loss to Ridgway (Ridgway, CO).
