Alabama High School Basketball - Meek nips Winston County

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Meek Tigers basketball team scored a close 39-37 win over the Winston County Yellowjackets.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bernard Prep (Cullman, AL). The Saints come into the 1A Area 14 contest with a 1-7 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Winston County will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record.
