Wisconsin High School Basketball - Messmer holds off University School of Milwaukee

In Thursday's league contest, the host Messmer Bishops basketball team scored a close 78-73 triumph over the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats.
The Bishops (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kingdom Prep Lutheran (Wauwatosa, WI). The Wolfpack go into the Midwest Classic contest with a 3-4 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI) in a Midwest Classic contest, on Saturday, January 11. University School of Milwaukee will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Lightning go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 69-61 non-league win over Milwaukee Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI).
