The Blue Devils (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Springfield dropped by Girard (Girard, OH), 59-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Mineral Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 55-50 league loss to Bristol (Bristolville, OH).
