The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) and the visiting North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC), observed Washington's basketball team overwhelm North Pitt by a margin of 89-64.

The Pam Pack (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars come into the 2A Eastern Plains challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, SouthWest Edgecombe trounced Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 72-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) in a 2A Eastern Plains challenge, on Friday, January 17. North Pitt will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record.
