North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford triumphant over Ragsdale

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the visiting Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), observed Southwest Guilford's basketball team overwhelm Ragsdale by a score of 78-50.

The Cowboys (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies come into the 4A Metro challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Grimsley trounced Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 66-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Ragsdale will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 75-59 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
