The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) and the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), observed Rahway's basketball team edge Summit by a margin of 36-33.

The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Shabazz (Newark, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Shabazz was tipped by West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 50-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Roselle Rams (Roselle, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Summit will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 58-55 league win over Dayton (Springfield, NJ).
