The Hornets (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Troy (Troy, PA). The Trojans come into the Northern Tier challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Troy edged Canton (Canton, PA), 69-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights encounter the North Penn-Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) in a Northern Tier challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Towanda will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 76-42 league win over Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA).
