The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) and the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), observed Dodge County's basketball team overwhelm Academy for Classical Education by a score of 61-37.

The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Wilcox County trounced Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 56-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gryphons encounter the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record.
