In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Academy-Notre Dame De Namur basketball team scored a big 61-27 win over the Episcopal Academy Churchmen.
The (15-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA). The Magic come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Mt. St. Joseph Academy was trounced by Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA), 48-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Churchmen battle the Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA) in a Inter-Academic contest, on Saturday, January 11. Episcopal Academy will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 58-18 league win over Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA).
