Indiana High School Basketball - Lapel holds off Anderson

The Lapel Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Anderson Indians to 48 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Lapel will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 63-33 league win over Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 14-1.

With the loss, Anderson falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 12-5. Greenfield-Central won 55-30 in their recent non-league game against Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN)
