California High School Basketball - Arcata overwhelms Fortuna

January 9, 2025: Arcata, CA 95521

The Arcata Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Fortuna Huskies to 33 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chico for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Arcata will confront a Panthers team coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Fortuna falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Knights go into the game with a record of 7-6. Kelseyville won 54-32 in their recent league game against St. Helena (St. Helena, CA)
