In Thursday's league contest, the host Blair Blazers basketball team scored a close 39-32 triumph over the Kennedy Cavaliers.
The Blazers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Wheaton nipped Northwood (Silver Spring, MD), 35-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers confront the Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 62-28 non-league loss to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD).
