The Brownstown Bombers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats to 33 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bombers now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Altamont for a National Trail game on Thursday, January 16.

With the loss, Mt. Olive falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 13-2. Staunton lost 42-35 in their recent league game against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL)
