In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cass Lake-Bena Panthers basketball team scored a big 90-57 win over the Pine River-Backus Tigers.
The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Proctor (Proctor, MN). The Rails come into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Proctor smashed Esko (Esko, MN), 46-28, in a non-league contest.
