The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Drummond Bulldogs (Drummond, OK) and the host Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK), observed Drummond's basketball team knock off Covington-Douglas by a score of 50-40.

The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Blackwell (Blackwell, OK). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Blackwell was knocked off by Alva (Alva, OK), 75-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Waynoka Railroaders (Waynoka, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Covington-Douglas will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
