In Thursday's league contest, the host New London Wildcats basketball team scored a big 51-11 triumph over the Crestview Cougars.

The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Mounties go into the Firelands contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Mapleton smashed Western Reserve (Collins, OH), 34-22, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Crestview will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Roughriders go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 34-22 league loss to Mapleton (Ashland, OH).
