California High School Basketball - Mt. Whitney overwhelmed by El Diamante

January 9, 2025: Visalia, CA 93277

In Thursday's league test, the El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), by a final score of 69-23.

Next, the Miners clash with the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. El Diamante will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Generals come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 68-13 league win over Delano (Delano, CA).

The Pioneers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Monache (Porterville, CA). The Marauders go into the East Yosemite game with a 11-6 record. In their last game, Monache was trounced by Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA), 62-54, in a non-league game.
