The First Presbyterian Day Vikings basketball squad (Macon, GA), was nudged 44-37 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA)
With the victory, Stratford Academy advances its record to 13-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA) to meet the Cougars in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 12-3.
The Vikings now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Milledge Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 14. First Presbyterian Day will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 50-47 league loss to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-7.
