In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Virginia Academy Patriots basketball team scored a big 79-35 win over the Flint Hill Huskies.
The Patriots (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Steward (Richmond, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Steward smashed St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Flint Hill will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 73-31 league loss to Potomac School (McLean, VA).
