In Thursday's non-league test, the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) basketball team walloped the visiting Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), by a margin of 47-17.
The Orioles now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Greater Grace Christian Academy for a Maryland Independent game on Tuesday, January 14.
With the loss, Hancock falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Paw Paw (Paw Paw, WV) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-1.
