Next, the Cougars encounter the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State test, on Friday, January 10. Rockingham County will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 51-35 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).

The Bison (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the 3A Mid-State test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Ben L. Smith bounced Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 62-51, in a league test.
