Arizona High School Basketball - Tuba City knocks off Hopi

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Tuba City Warriors basketball team scored a good 56-39 win over the Hopi Bruins.

The Warriors (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ganado (Ganado, AZ). The Hornets come into the 3A North contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Ganado was topped by Chinle (Chinle, AZ), 59-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) in a 2A North contest, on Saturday, January 11. Hopi will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Redskins come into the contest with a 17-2 record after their 81-4 non-league win over Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
