The Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights basketball squad (Cecil, AL), was outscored 54-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL)
With the victory, Springwood advances its record to 13-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Trinity Christian (Opelika, AL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 0-3.
The Knights now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chambers Academy for a AISA AA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 55-22 league loss to Springwood (Lanett, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 2-4.
