The Section Lions basketball squad (Section, AL), was outscored 55-36 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL)

With the victory, North Sand Mountain advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Bison travel to Skyline (Scottsboro, AL) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Monday, January 20. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-11.

The Lions now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Skyline for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11.
