The South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA), 66-16 in Thursday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabeth Forward for a WPIAL 4A 3 bout on Monday, January 13. South Park will play a Warriors team coming off a 56-21 league win over Yough (Herminie, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Southmoreland falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Scotties host Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA) to play the Leopards in a WPIAL 4A 3 bout on Monday, January 13. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 3-6.
