Washington High School Basketball - Sultan triumphant over South Whidbey

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) and the host South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), observed Sultan's basketball team overwhelm South Whidbey by a score of 47-21.
The Turks (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA). The Sentinels come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Steilacoom trounced Washington (Tacoma, WA), 59-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge, on Saturday, January 11. South Whidbey will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 45-26 league loss to Bush (Seattle, WA).
