In Thursday's league contest, the host Galena Grizzlies basketball team scored a big 42-9 triumph over the Reed Raiders.
The Grizzlies (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs go into the contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Damonte Ranch was trounced by Douglas (Minden, NV), 47-5, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a contest, on Monday, January 13. Reed will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 36-18 league win over McQueen (Reno, NV).
