The Ashley Screaming Eagle basketball squad (Wilmington, NC), was crushed 44-15 in Thursday's league battle with the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC)

With the victory, New Hanover advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Wildcats host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to meet the Cougars in a battle on Friday, January 17. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 5-5.

The Screaming Eagle now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laney for a battle on Friday, January 17.
