In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored a close 70-66 win over the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls.

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record.
