The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers to 25 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lumberton for a game on Friday, January 17. Seventy-First will confront a Pirates team coming off a 50-37 league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Jack Britt falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Colts go into the game with a record of 3-5. Cape Fear lost 56-40 in their recent league game against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC)
