North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant victorious over South Stanly

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored a good 47-37 triumph over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.
The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Albemarle was toppled by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls confront the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. South Stanly will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 58-54 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC).
