The Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) basketball edged the visiting Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC), 44-38 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Batesburg-Leesville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Strom Thurmond will play a Panthers team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
