Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 49-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southwest Onslow advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Stallions travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 11-1.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Duplin for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. South Lenoir will face a Panthers squad coming off a 33-22 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.
