Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA) and the host Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), saw Ganesha's soccer squad knock off Bassett by a count of 3-1.

The Giants (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Red Devils enter the Miramonte battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Pomona by Edgewood (West Covina, CA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Olympians confront the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Bassett will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lobos enter the battle with a 0-12 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to La Puente (La Puente, CA).
