Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Poteet advances its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region 4 District 28 test on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-3. Pleasanton lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Jones (Beeville, TX)

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 14. Cole will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
