The West Hempstead Rams basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Carle Place Frogs to 52 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host New Hyde Park Memorial for a non-league game on Monday, January 12. West Hempstead will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Jericho (Jericho, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Carle Place falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Frogs host Oyster Bay (Oyster Bay, NY) to face the Baymen in a Section 8 VIII outing on Monday, January 12. The Baymen enter the outing with a record of 6-4. Oyster Bay lost 64-27 in their recent league outing against Wheatley (Old Westbury, NY)
