Texas High School Basketball - Randle fells Lamar Consolidated

The Randle Lions basketball squad scored 60 points and held the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs to 46 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

Next, the Lions clash with the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 outing, on Tuesday, January 13. Randle will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 8-12 record after their 51-40 league win over Tomas (Richmond, TX).

The Mustangs (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Titans enter the 5A Region III District 22 outing with a 10-14 record. In their last outing, Victoria East was defeated by Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX), 63-34, in a league game.
