The Lubbock Westerners basketball squad scored 60 points and held the host Plainview Bulldogs to 52 in the Westerners league victory on Friday.
Next, the Westerners clash with the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 outing, on Tuesday, January 13. Lubbock will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Longhorns enter the outing with a 3-14 record after their 65-52 league loss to Plainview (Plainview, TX).
The Bulldogs (10-13) will now prepare for their outing against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels enter the 5A Region I District 3 outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, Tascosa ran past Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 66-58, in a league game.
